Software for InterRAI Instruments
CIM provides software tools to organizations wishing to improve quality of care for
special populations, such as frail elderly or persons with disabilities by deploying the family of tools and applications developed by interRAI, a collaborative network of researchers in over 28 countries.
CIM offers automated support systems to both collect interRAI instruments and generate outcome measures, assessment protocols, case-mix algorithms and quality indicators.
CIM is a leader in software for interRAI instruments, having deployed
the new 'interRAI Home Care (HC) instrument on a statewide basis in
Michigan.
Technical Details
CIM supports several options to collect interRAI instruments:
- PICK - workers use our portable software with their laptop to collect
customized intake and assessment instruments and other related data.

- Form-FAX - workers complete customized forms in homes or elsewhere and
fax them to CIM for verification, processing and data storage.
CIM offers a family of reports containing outcome measures, case-mix
algorithms and quality indicators which are delivered through web-based reports portal
(WISP).
- Report web portals are customized to each customer's needs
- Web portal functionality can evolve with more and different outputs, as
needs demand
- Reports are requested by users who enter output parameters, like data
ranges, and are then queued for processing, allowing users to request
another report with no waiting
- Outputs from the portal are delivered in industry-standard Adobe Acrobat TM
PDF files and archived for future reference
